Snowball Scott

This is the second card I made today.

The image is Snowball Scott from A Day for Daisies... I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I glittered the snow part of the image. Then I placed it on a green cardstock.

For the background, I used red cardstock and used a Sizzix embossing forder (Birthday set). The dp is a scrap left from the card I made before and I think is perfect for this card.

As embellishements I used a green ribbon with snowflakes and three white rhinestones to complete the sketch.

I hope you like the card :)

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:

Gingerbread man

Hello!
Today I would like to show you a couple of new cards I made . This is the first one.

The image is a Mo Manning's freebie for a freebie contest in Facebook. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and used some glitter to make the icing for this little fellow. I cut it out and placed it on a green mat with foami tape.

I used Christmas dp that I won in a candy (Thanks, Terri!!!) and the red ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. As the background paper has a lot of wording, I didn´t put any sentiment.

Kisses from Heaven

This is the second card I was talking about in the previous post. I love the sentiment for this card: Snowflakes are kisses from Heaven (Create with TLC) and I felt that was the appropiated one for this card.

This cute image is a snowman from Jellypark. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and put glitter on the body of this little fellow. I really like the cute robin resting in its hand!!!!!!! I placed it on a green cardstock mat, and made the same with the sentiment.

The background is white cardstock and I used a Sizzix embossing folder from the Birthday set. I also used a green ribbon with snowflakes and a few rhinestones to simulate some snowflakes coming from above.

BTW: Why it is so difficult to take pictures when the background is white??? Do you have the same problem?

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Addicted to CAS: Snow
Bunny Zoe:  winter
Tammy's scraping corner: Let it snow
Forever friends: glitter and sparkle

EDITED: THIS CARDS IS FEATURED ON CREATE WITH TLC.

Snowman CAS card

The image is Jellypark and I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I also used some glitter for the snow and three rhinestones in one corner.

I used white cardstock and "Vines" (Quick Kutz) embossing folder for the background. And some dark red cardstock for the mat of the image and the sentiment. The sentiment was stamped from a Christmas set with Black Tuxedo Memento ink. I also used a red ribbon with snowflakes.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:

Digi Makeover Challenge #64 - Christmas/Holiday

Hello! I hope you are having a great beggining of the week...
I would like to invite you to play with us this week at Digi Makeover Challenge, our challenge is a very helpfull one: Christmas/ Holiday!!! Remember to use a digi stamp, to follow this week's theme and if you would like to be considered as a Guest Designer, put GDT after your name when you link up your project.

Are you making your greeting cards or you wait until the last week before the holidays??? I made some back in July and some last month too, but now I am in a hurry for doing more and sending to my family and friends :) OK, this is the card I made for this week's challenge.

I used Lars' Presents and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. (I have the bad habit of coloring before chosing the papers and now that the card is finished I feel bother by that blue present in the middle of the image...) I placed it on a red mat.

I used a dark red cardstock with fibers on the background that I really love and normally only use it for Christmas cards... and torn one of the edges and made some faux stitches on the background to match the sketch I folllowed. I also used two different green plaid with golden swirls dp (from the same set). I used a green ribbon (from Crafty Ribbons), made a bow, also a golden cord and tied two small bells and made another bow. The sentiment is stamped from a Christmas set I've got in a candy that Jacque offered a few weeks ago and I won (yeah!) and used the same red cardstock as a mat.

I really hope you like my card and feel inspired to make Christmas cards and play with us. Also I would like to invite you to visit the other DT members as this ladies are amazing and always have so gorgeous projects to display (links on the left sidebar or in the challenge blog).

Hi, again!
This is my second card today. I don´t know how it is where you are, but here we are having snow and cold weather for one week already and this little fellow here has a cup to warm the things up. I made this card for the challenge at Bronte and Bella's: Don´t be square.

I used Dormouse and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. Then, I used Labels Two (Spellbinders) to cut it and distressed the borders with a blue ink pad.

I made an easel card (tutorial here). The dp is Folia and I love blue color, so I used this one as the only dp in this card. The sentiment is Create with TLC one, placed on a blue mat and the only embellishement used is blue rhinestones.

I hope you like my card, a not Christmas one for a change in the last days (LOL).

Hanging the star

Hi!
Today I made two cards, both of them are for the same challenge: Don´t be square! at Bronte and Bella's challenge.

This is the first one and I made a round easel card (If you need a tutorial, go here). I followed the color combo that Sunday Stamp has in its challenge for this week. I used Hanging the star and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and distressed the border with a sky blue ink pad.

I also used sky blue and kraft color paper and ditressed the borders with sky blue and brown ink pad. I cut everything with Sizzix circle die cuts and the Big Shot. As embellishment I used a red ribbon and made a bow and put a golden bell. The sentiment is from Create with TLC and placed it on a red mat and glued it with foami tape to make the stand for the easel.

Other challenges:
That craft place: no squares
Sentimental Sundays: easel card
EDITED: I AM TOP THREE
Stampin' sisters: Christmas card

EDITED: I WAS TOP PICK AT SUNDAY STAMPS!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas snow fight

Hello!
How are you doing? Here is freezing, I want the winter finished!!! It´s only one week since started snow and bellow cero temperatures, but I am already tired, so cold for me :) But, I feel inspired and I made this Christmas card with snow fight!!!

The image is The Greeting Farm Snowball Fight and I love it... I have this one almost for one year, I printed it and colored it long ago but never did anything with it, so today I made this card :) I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and used some extrafine glitter for the snow and the hat's fur.

I used plaid Muresco dps and gingham Folia dp. I was playing with the different colors of plaid dp and I like the combo... I also used some red cardstock.

As embellishment only used a Christmas ribbon with sonwflakes and made a bow. I wanted to look very Christmasy as I don´t know who will receive it yet, I didn´t put any sentiment (I don´t know yet if it will be for a Spanish/English/Kazakh/Russian speaker, and maybe at the last minut I don´t have the time to put a seniment in the right language!)

I like how it looks and finally I used my stamp. How do you like it? Please, leave a comment to know if you do.

Jesus is the reason 2

Hi again, this is my second card today...

The image is a freebie at Dearie Dolls (Mary Ellen has tons of beautiful and cute images!!!)... I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I placed it on a blue cardstock and used glitter for the snow and the hat.

For the background I used white cardbord and a embossing folder (Sizzix birthday set). Then, I used blue gingham dp (Folia) and blue cardstock.

As embellishments I used a red w/snoflakes ribbon and made a bow. I also used some blue rhinestones to complete the sketch I was following.

Although I made this card thinking in a male card, I put glitter and some bling even a bow, but still I think is masculine, what do you think???
