Make it crafty/colorful celebration challenge 2

This is the second card for the challenge at Make it colorful. Zoe is having at Make it Crafty for its anniversary. The challenge is hosted at Make it Colorful, "Make it Crafty images and coloured with Make it Crafty Logo colours".

So I made two cards, both of them using freebies, and I chose Summer theme, so you will see my beachy cards. I colored the images with acuarelable pencils.

It was hard to find papers in my stash with that color combo, I don´t have any dp like that, so I used pearlized cardstock and textil. I also used brads.
In the previous entry I posted another card I made for this challenge. I can´t post them together because in some challenges they both are playing :)

Letraset Coloring Contest

Two days ago, when I went to look for a freebie, I found out that the freebie was for a coloring contest and the opportunity to win some Letraset markers. (Win a ProMarker 12 Set + Ultra Fine Nibs!)

For that reason I colored the image with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and I am linking it at Letraset blog, because I really would like to win some markers!!!

Maybe you already know, normally I color with acuarelable pencils as I don´t own any special marker, just the normal ones for school :)
If you want more details for the contest or would like to participate too, just take a look here. The contest ends on August 17th.

This is my first try, I printed the image in plain paper and when I watered the pencils, the paper couldn´t do its best job (!) , for that reason I have to printed again, this time in cardstock,  and colored it.

A wedding card

This coming Saturday we have to attend a wedding and I didn´t have a card yet!!! So today I made a card that we can handle them before or after the wedding...

Sometimes is really hard when you don´t know very well the people, we don´t know the colors they like nor the color theme of the wedding, so I decided to use white, blue and baby blue...

I colored this wonderful image made by Beccy (there is a lot of wonderful freebies at Beccy's place) with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils, then I added some very fine glitter to the bride's dress.

I used a methalized blue card, some white glitter paper and some methalizes (or pearlized) blue cardstock. I also added a bunch of baby blue roses and a white-gold ribbon.

Challenges:
Bee Crafty: Wedding wishes
Paper Creator's Craft: weddings
Paper minutes: sketch

Paper craft stars: anything goes
