Gratitude

  Hello, dear friends!

Today I want to show you a new creation I made, it is a small watercolor painting (A5 size:15 x 21 cm). This one goes together with the previous one I made, same color palette and same frame...

I was inspired by the season of autumn and Thanksgiving. I painted this one with my watercolor set "Sonet" and a few synthetic round art brushes on a 200g watercolor paper. As you can see I am just learning this technique and made a few mistakes but I am very happy with the result. I hope you like it too.

CAS cards

*After 18 months of not blogging, I just found I had this draft entry I'd never published...

Hello, friends!
I don't have much time lately to make cards or blog about them because I am preparing to move... I am afraid that I will not be around for a while, as normally happens when we move, it takes time to settle and craft again. Anyways, here a couple of very simple cards I made:

I ink the stamps with Memento tuxedo black inkpad, then colored with watercolor pencils and rounded the corners with a punch. I love lighthouses, they are one of my favorite images for cards.

CAS cards

Hello!
As I am preparing to move (work traveling for a few months), I don't have much time to craft 😕 that's why today I only have a couple of very simple cards to show you.... I think the last thing to pack would be my crafts' supplies I hope to be able to do more before the move. I am bringing my markers for sure, and my digistamps in the computer with me and don't know if the next months until I am back can do cards, but at least I will color. Anyways, this is what I have today to show you:

Sorry the pictures are not the best today, they look too dim.... I stamped with black tuxedo Memento inkpad both of them. I colored it with Koh-i-noor watercolor pencils. I embellished the first one with three pink little gems, and the second one with a border punch.

How do you do when making a "one layer card" to color with markers? On purpose I colored them with pencils, because the back looks bad when coloring with markers.

Special wedding

Hello, dear friends!
Thanks for visiting me today!!!! I would like to show you a wedding card I made for a friend who is getting married in a few days....

The image is a freebie at Becci's. I colored it with copic and kuretake markers. I used an oval die (sizzix) cut for the image and the white mat. I used some blue because the bride told me, she will have some blue details, and blue will be the color in the decorations. To embellish it I used a white ribbon and made a bow, I also used three small pearls. The sentiment I printed it myself using microsoft word.

As the couple is moving after they get married we still don't know if to give a real physical gift or just money for them to buy when they settle, so I prepared a money pocket for the inside but still didn't attach it (we still need to decide). It looks something like this:

Wedding card

Hello!
Today I would like to show you a wedding card I made:

The digistamp is a freebie by Sliekje. My daughter colored it with kuretake and copic markers. She is so enthusiastic at learning how to use the markers... I cut it with a Nestabilities Spellbinders die cut (labels 1) and used the same shape for the blue mat. For the background I used a white cardstock and an embossing folder (4 petals flower- Sizzix). To embellish it I used a blue flower ribbon and three blue rhinestones.
