Special Christmas card

OK, this is my last post for tonight. And this is a special card, because it will be for my daughter, Vicky. She loves pinks and purples tones, for that reason her card can´t be done in traditional colors :)

This is another image I've got at The Digi Garden freebie Friday. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and glittered a little bit the hat and the star to make it sparkle and distressed the border with a purple ink pad, then, I placed it on a lilac mat.

The pink w/stars dp is Printer Soyuz and I also used some purple cardstock and with a textured folder (Tim Holtz - flourished) I made the embossing and also cut it with a Sizzix circle die cut.

Then I used a purple ribbon and made two bows and I used a strip of purple bling on the top of the card.

My daughter did see it and ask "Who will receive this beautiful card, mom? Do you know already?..." I didn´t say it is for her, but I already know she loved it!!!

Snowballs for sale

OK, here we go with my thirth post... Today I was very productive, hope you like my cards :)

I've got this cute image at The Digi Garden freebie Friday. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it with a circle die cut (Sizzix) and placed it on a red flower mat (die cut Nestabilities "blossom"). I used some glitter for the fur and the snow.

I used Christmas dp that I've got in Terri's candy (thanks a lot, Terri!) and used a green mat for it. The background is white cardstock placed on a red mat.

For embellishments I used a red ribbon with snowflakes and made a bow and to complete my card I used some red gems on the empty corners.

Blue Christmas

Hi, again! This is my second post today.
I love how this card looks... I think I did a nice job. I love blue and silver for Christmas, I think is a great color combo for the holidays.

I used this cutie from The Digi Garden (every Friday offers a freebie) and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils I cut it with an oval die cut (Sizzix), and placed it on a blue oval mat. I glittered the fur parts in the image with extrafine glitter.

I used dp from Folia and blue cardstock and I used Label 2 Nestabilities to cut the back layers, I used an embossing folder from the set Birthday (Sizzix) with the white background.

I used a blue ribbon with stars and then I used some snowflakes with a white rhinestone on each of them. I also made some stitches with a silver pen.

The sketch used in this card is the one Damaris made for her 25 days of Christmas and this one gives the chance to win some copics (I hope Mr. Random picks me... it's my dream to have some markers!!!) If you don´t know Damaris' blog you have to visit her, and there is still some time to participate in her special giveaway month.

Sweet little monster :)

Hello!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend, for me, this one was very productive as I made four cards (yes, four!!!) I made this card just because it was the weekend for Wold Cardmaking.

I have printed this Digi Garden cutie (it was a freebie at their FB page) a few days ago and colored it with  Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. And as I colored it before chosing the papers it took me ages to select the papers for my card :(... I don´t learn that is better to chose the papers before coloring....... I distressed the edges with a turquoise ink pad and placed it on a turquoise mat.

I used paper from three different companies, maybe more, Paper Soyuz, Nikki Estes, Folia and don´t know what else, besides the cardstok, two different tones of turquoise (can you notice it?)

The only embellishment is a big turquoise button with some green embroidery thread. Hope you like the result as I did. And come back tomorrow to see the last card I made during the weekend :)
