Digi Makeover challenge #60 - Lots of layers

Hello!
Happy Monday and I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
This week at Digi Makeover challenge, we have a fun challenge: Lots of layers! and of course, a digi image :)


... and this is my card for the challenge.


I used the mail box image and one sentiment from the set Sending you love . I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and I made some faux stitches around the edge with a green glitter pen.


I used cream (light yellow) cardstock and I used Swirly vines with hearts Sizzix embossing folder for the background, I also used dark green and dark red cadstock and dp is from The Garden (Rosie's studio)... and made many layers with them :)


As embellishments I used a light green ribbon with hearts and three green rhinestones. (Sorry for the pics, they are dark and blurry as it was late in the night when I made them...)

Digi Makeover challenge #59 - Weather report

Hello, there!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend, I had it! I learned many interesting things during this weekend and would like to tell you about in another post...


But going what is important today, we have a new challenge at Digi Makeover: Weather report. We would like to see cards that show weather related images and themes, and remember, the only requirement is that you use a digi for our challenge and you can win some amazing new digistamps!!!


For my card I used Moody for showers and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I placed it on a lilac-purple cardstock mat.


I used Printer Soyuz dp and another one that I won in a candy, so I don´t know the brand :) and more cardstock.


For the sentiment, I placed it on the same cardstock and distressed the borders to make it a little bit different...


 As embellishment I used a lilac-purple ribbon with white polka dots. I also used three awesome purple rhinestones to complete the sketch.

D2D progresive challenge is back!

Hello!
I am very happy, as this morning when I checked here, I realized I passed the 50,000 visitors (+ 58 to be exact...). Thank you so much to come and visit me, thanks to those who leave comments and thanks to the special friends I met during this time in bloggers. I love to visit you too...

OK, I made this card for the D2D progresive challenge that is back alive again!!! Thanks, Faith!!! I love to color Designed to Delight images...


The image is "Owl and pumpkins" (first freebie for the challenge) and I colored it with acuarelable pencils, I cut it with a nestabilities "Labels Two" die and placed on an orange mat cut with a little bigger one of the same set.


I used a blue with stars Soyuz Printer dp that I have for ages now (LOL), orange cardstock and blue vellum. I cut the leaves in the vellum with a punch (... so difficult to see where to punch out!)


The only embellishment is a blue ribbon from my stash, I don´t use very often (don´t know why... I love blue!) and made two knots to complete the sketch.

Digi Makeover challenge #58 - Silhouettes

Happy Moday and hope you are having a great day!!!


Our challenge for this week at Digi Makeover is Silhouettes.
And this was a challenge for me as this is the first time I made a card using a silhouette. To tell you the truth I was afraid, not having a colored image... but I did it and I love the result!!!!!!!!



I made two cards, one in fall colors and the second one using green.



In the first one, I used Sprout, distressed the border with an orange ink pad and used yellow and flowers dp, and dark orange and a little bit of light orange cardstock. I also used a flowered cream ribbon, some orange bling and a TLC sentiment.

Some pink thoughts

OK, this is my last card for today... this one has some pink and an encouraging thought for the women who is fighting a battle and because is breast cancer awareness month.


The image is a The Digi Garden and I think is very cute and sweet, isn´t it? I colored it with acuarelable pencils and made some faux stitches around with a blue glitter pen, then I placed it on a skyblue mat.


I used Folia dp and pink and skyblue cardstock. The sentiment is TLC and placed on a pink mat.

Orange birthday

Hi! It's me again... this is my second entry today :)
I made this card for a birthday. As we are in auttumn, I chose orange color and other auttumn shades.


The image is a Pixie Studio Design. I colored it with acuarelable pencils and placed on a peach mat.


I used two different dps, one is Printer Soyuz and the second is... from Australia, I think!


As embellishments I used a new ribbon I won in a Crafty ribbon Friday giveaway and I just using for first time today, it's written in French and says Joeux Anniversarie and has cute little hearts. I also used a lot of orange bling around the image.


I think is cute, hope you like it :)

Fun with snow

Hello!
I made a few cards and would like to show you them... this is my first card, one for Christmas.


I used this Egbert, a Bugaboo image. I colored it with acuarelable pencils and used glitter for the snow. I placed it on a red mat. I cut both with Sizzix circle dies.


I used some Oriental trading dp and red and blue cardstock.


I also used the same sentiment for both sides of the image. This is a ??? sentiment ( I don´t remember where I've got it, sorry!). I used some red cardstock for them.

Thanksgiving 4

Ok, here we go with the last card for today... this is the fourth CAS card I made for a friend who asked me to make some cards for Thanksgiving. (Scroll down to see the other three cards)


I used the freebie for this week from Bugaboo: Turkey with pumpkin. Isn´t he lovely hilarious???


I just loved this image when I saw it and thought to make a cute card with it. I colored it with acuarelable pencils and placed it on an orange mat.


I used some cream cardstock and used an embossing folder, I also used some Printer Soyuz dp and more orange cardstock and I used a fiskar scallop scissor to make one of the edges.


My friend loved this card and told me it was very cute, so I feel happy she liked it! Hope you like it too :)

Thanksgiving 3

Hi! It´s me again... as I told you before,  I made four very simple Thanksgivings cards for a friend and this one is the third one (scroll down and up to see the rest):



I used a freebie from Dearie Dolls (Mary Ellen has hundreds of cute images!!!) I colored it with acuarelable pencils and cut it up and to placed it on the card I used some foami tape (I love how it looks!).


I used Printer Soyuz dp. As embellishment I used a pumpkin ribbon that I have for more than two years now and don´t use very often... well, I used it only once before today :)


I tried to make the sketch from Raise the bar, but I twisted a little bit... I didn´t put the embellishment and I put a sentiment (from D2D), hope still fits the challenge :)
