Traveler Snail

Hello! How are you doing?
Today my daughter started the classes (2nd grade) and I really miss her... Can't wait until she comes back and fills the house with chatting and laughter. (sigh.....)
Anyways, I want to show you a card I made for Design Team Inspiration Tuesday at SKdigis:

I love this little critter, isn't he cute and fun? The image is Traveler Snail and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a green cardstock mat.

I used Rosie's Studio dps and more green cardstock. The background is a white microembossed cardstock.

My embellishments are a green baker's twine with a bow and three green rhinestones.

I used the sketch made by Sonia, and there is the svg file available to use, just as a little help to you, (it's not a requirement to play).

Also there is a linking party for all SKdigis fans, with a freebie available for you to participate, and for the ones who participated last month there is an extra freebie!!! And every month Sonia chooses the top picks...

There is more inspiration in SKdigis blog for you to see, the other teammies have made gorgeous cards!!!

No squares at all - QKR challenge

Hello!
Happy Friday! How was your week? For me was fun, we went to the lake and we had a wonderful day, we had a wedding and we enjoyed each other in our little family this week :)
Today I want to show you a card I made for our weekly challenge at QKR Stampede: NO SQUARES AT ALL. I made an easel shaped card:

I used the image Planting a garden (12201) and colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it out and placed on a white cardstock mat cut with nestabilities Labels1.

The background paper is by Rosie's Studio. and also cut it with a bigger Labels1 die cut.

The embellishments are a green gingham ribbon and a bow made with it. And flowers made with a daisy punch and blue, pink and yellow cardstock (as the flowers in the dp) and the centers are orange rhinestones to match the orange background of the dp.

Sunny Days at Digi Makeover

Hello and happy Monday!
The weather here is awesomely summery... we had two week with temperatures over 30°C (almost 40° to tell you the truth!!) and I hope this one would it be the same too as we are planning to spend some time in a nearby lake.
As summer is showing its best time and we are drinking all the things you can imagine (except for the water in the flower pots!) to cool down the heat, this week I don´t have a card, I have a different project to show you: a  juice package (Tang) holder box!

Our challenge at Digi Makeover this week is SUNNY DAYS, and you can participate with us doing something following the theme and using a digi image on it. We are in our #100 CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used a couple of images from the set Frekled Lemonade. I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils and cut it out, added some foam tape and glued it on a white circle matted with an orange cardstock circle scalloped.

You can see my process of recycling in the pictures. I used an empty cereal box, cut it in half, glue the two halfs and then wrapped it with some DCWV green plaid paper (it looks brown in the pics!).

You can see the box finished and then with the digi and the sentiment on it.

I am quite happy with my project, it looks very nice in my kitchen and we are using it a lot as it is too warm and we need lots of liquids!!!!
