In love...

Hello and happy Thursday!
I am having one of those weeks you want to finish yesterday!!! I feel really tired and with less energy that I almost can not type :(
Today I want to show you the last card I made for my friend.

The image is an old freebie by Beccy. I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils and used a little bit of glitter in some details to make it sparkle.

The paper is by Folia and I also used white cardstock and Flourishes (Tim Holtz-Sizzix) embossing folder.I also used some dark red cardstock to mat every panel and the image.

To embellish is I used a white ribbon (I don´t know the exact name for this kind) and a white rose paper.

I am still working on my friend's cards for Christmas and new year (whole story here)...
I want to show you one more:

Thank you with flowers

Today I would like to show a couple of quick cards I made for thanking some wonderful people that have blessed us lately. This is the first one (second one in next post).

I used this free image from Beccy Muir that I love, this gorgeous Bucket of blossom. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. As a mat I cut an oval (Sizzix die cut) in purple purple cardstock and mounted it with foami tape to give some dimension.

As background I used a Sizzix embossing folder on white cardstock. I also used a TLC sentiment and used a purple gingham ribbon  and also I made a bow.

Simple, isn´t it?

"I do" card

This is a card I made to the request of a friend who's best friend is getting married soon. She wants a lot of sparkle and a very cute card... I hope she likes it when she gets it!

I used a Beccy's image that I love because it's so romantic... I colored it with acuarelable pencils and used glitter for the bride´s dress. I mounted it on a pink cardstock.

The picture doesn´t show to well but the white paper has a fine texture, very delicate. I also used pink cardstock.

As embellishments I used a lace, a pink ribbon, many pink flowers and pink gems. The wording are the names of the happy couple and the word Forever I printed using the font ALS script.

Sentimental Sundays: wedding or anniversary
Ladybug craft: marriage and love
Midnight Madness: sketch
Charisma cards: cutesy
Southern girls: inspired by a song (don´t know the title, but the one Meryl Strip sings to Pierce Brossnan in Mamma Mia "I do, I do, I do...")

When I saw the challenge for this week at TouchTwin challenge blog I printed out many flowers and finally I chose the gerberas from Beccy's Place blog to make a card for the challenge.

I colored the gerberas in three different colors with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I mounted them on green cardstock with foami tape to give some dimension.

I used the sketch from My time made easy (Sketch 32). I used dp from Folia and green cardstock. As embellishment I used a green  gingham ribbon and made a bow and three cold porcelain ladybugs. I also made some faux stitches with a green fine marker.

A wedding card

This coming Saturday we have to attend a wedding and I didn´t have a card yet!!! So today I made a card that we can handle them before or after the wedding...

Sometimes is really hard when you don´t know very well the people, we don´t know the colors they like nor the color theme of the wedding, so I decided to use white, blue and baby blue...

I colored this wonderful image made by Beccy (there is a lot of wonderful freebies at Beccy's place) with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils, then I added some very fine glitter to the bride's dress.

I used a methalized blue card, some white glitter paper and some methalizes (or pearlized) blue cardstock. I also added a bunch of baby blue roses and a white-gold ribbon.

A tag card with flowers

Tomorrow we need to give a couple of cards... to say thanks to some teachers at the ballet performance.

I made this card with an image from Beccy's place.
Don´t know the name of this flower in English, but my neighbourhood here is full of this beautiful lilac color flowers. I colored them with acuarelable pencils.

I made a tag with some purple cardstock. I used DPs from my stash and a couple of purple ribbons and made a bow for the bottom of the card and a knot to the tag.

It looks very simple, maybe I should add some faux stitches...mmmmm...
