Christmas in July - Tagged card


This is the second card I made for Christmas this year, this one is more "Christmasy" - green and red were my chosen colors today :)

This is the free image (Rubi Christmas tree) that Catch the bug blog challenge is offering to participate in today's challenge, isnt´she hilarious? I love this image, it reminds me of a very good friend who loves Christmas and she wears everything in green, red and Christmas during December!!!


I colored it with acuarelable pencils and used some red bling for the ornaments and a golden star for the top of the hairdress. Then I made some faux stitches around the image and glued it on a green tag.


I used a card from a kit of Leane Creatief BV and a red ribbon to attach the tag to the card and made a bow with it. 

I hope you like my card, it's very simple but I like it :)

    Thank you soooo much for dropping by my blog and leaving a sweet comment. I'm so glad somebody else understands that not all have cold/snowy Christmas's. Love your Ruby's card and the way it opens. Clean and simple cards can speak just as loud as busy/bulky cards and I sometimes forget that.
