Red, White and Blue at Gingerloft

Hello! Happy Sunday!!!
I hope you are doing good. Here we are having beautiful days of summer and we are getting lazy (just a little bit) and enjoying the warm weather.
This forthnight at Gingerloft the challenge is a color one: RED, BLUE AND WHITE. This is the card I made:


I used part of the set Hot Air Balloon and colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils.



I cut it out and placed it with foamy tape on a double circle mat (white/blue) cut with Sizzix circle die cut. Can you see the shadow?


I used Folia (blue gingham)  and Oriental Trading (dottie red) dp and blue cardstock as mats. I wanted to keep it simple...


The embellishments are a couple of buttons, a red one and a blue one, both of them tied up with white embroidery thread.

    You might have kept your card simple, but it is so effective! Aren't those aquarelle pencils fun to use - you have done a great job in colouring your great image for this circle sketch. Thanks for playing with us this week at the Sweet Stop Sketch challenge! x

    Nice card Adri and perfect for a 4th July card with these colors, and who wouldn´t like to fly away in a hot air balloon on a warm summerday?
    I´m sooo jealous to hear, you have such a wonderful summerweather, when we still haven´tgot up to more than 15 to 18 degrees here yet and it´s just pouring down most days, so it´s pretty depressing here right now, and we really WANT and NEED some more warm and sun here too. LOL
