I am so happy I am on vacation and although is Monday I don´t have to go to work... what a relief! I love my job, but I love being at home with my daughter and enjoying family and some rest :)
This is a new card I made and wanted to show you:
Our challenge this week at Digi Makeover is: VACATION. I can't imagine vacation in another place than the beach... it's something from my chilhood!
I invite you to play with us this week, you only need to follow the theme and use a digi image and you'll have the chance of winning some wonderful digi images.
I used part of the set Sailing By and colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I made a scene, I used some kraft paper and torn it for the sand, and for the background I sponged it with some blue ink and distressed the border with a darker blue ink pad.
I used red, blue, sand color cardstocks and some Shell dp (all of them Folia). For the blue background I used Swirls embossing folder (Tim Holtz - Sizzix).
As embellishments I used a red ribbon with white stitches (Crafty RIbbons) and some blue and red rhinestones.

Great card, and it sure has that vacation feel to it, and makes you think of summer sun and the beach.
ReplyDeleteHope you´re enjoying your time at a warm beach too? It´s definitely not very fun to be on any beach here yet, as it´s sooo cold, you would freeze a certain thing of, before you layed down ha ha ha.
