Hello! Happy Sunday!!!
I hope you are doing good. Here we are
having beautiful days of summer and we are getting lazy (just a little
bit) and enjoying the warm weather.
This forthnight at Gingerloft the challenge is a color one: RED, BLUE AND WHITE. This is the card I made:
I used part of the set Hot Air Balloon and colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils.
I
cut it out and placed it with foamy tape on a double circle mat
(white/blue) cut with Sizzix circle die cut. Can you see the shadow?
I used Folia (blue gingham) and Oriental Trading (dottie red) dp and blue cardstock as mats. I wanted to keep it simple...
The embellishments are a couple of buttons, a red one and a blue one, both of them tied up with white embroidery thread.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
The Sweet Stop: sketch 217
The paper Shelter: Buttons and/or brads

Stampin' for the weekend: anything goes
Wags 'n whiskers: cute as button

Lily's flowers
Hello!
We are having beautiful summer days this week, it's warm and sunny and it's better to be out than inside the house :)
Anyway, I made a new card that I want to show you...
The image is by Kris - Imagine that and is called Lily's flowers. It's the freebie for the challenge at Imagine that. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it with Labels1 Spellbinders and placed it on a blue mat cut with the same shape.
I used 2 different Folia dp and blue cardstock.
As embellishments I used some pink baker's twine and some pink rhinestones.
I just realized I didn´t use the sentiments that come with the image, I printed them out but forgot about them!
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Imagine that: freebie
Feeling sketchy: sketch # 63
Crafty sentiments: girl power
Deep Ocean: welcome summer
Inky chicks: anything goes
Craft your pasions: in the garden
Melonheadz: summer
Stamp and Create: Summer fun
The corrosive: summer time
Di's digis desings: summer fun

Dirt Bike Mike
Hello! Happy Sunday!!!
I was working today a little bit here, doing some cards with some monthly freebies offered around for many great artists... this is the first one:
The image is by Kenny K and it´s called Dirt Bike Mike, I wasn't on time for the challenge at FB, but I thought I can still do a card with it... I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and cut with a circle die (Sizzix).
I made a folded card, (don´t know the name for this fold) and I think it was perfect for this image.
I used black and red cardstock. For the black part I used Burlap embossing folder (Tim Holtz- Sizzix).
The only embellishment are red and yellow ribbons tied in a knot. As I didn´t know yet how to use it, I didn´t put a sentiment, most probably would be a birthday one... we'll see!
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Kenny K's Krafty Krew: anything goes
Craft Lovin: anything goes
Little Claire's: male theme
Die cut divas: guys and boys
Country View challenges: die cuts
Ladybug crafts: for the men in our lifes
Scribbles designs: manly
The crafter's cafe: for a man
Sandy's crafty creations: embossed backgrounds
Crafty catz: add some embossing

A kite that flies away.....
Hello!
I was quite busy these last days making cards, I made lots... So I would love to show you a new card I made:
The image is a Kite by SKdigis. I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils and framed with a turquoise cardstock frame.
For the background I used white cardstock and Paisley embossing folder (it looks like beautiful clouds, isn´t it?). I also used some dp with orange/green and turqouise colors.
I wanted to keep it clean to have this male flavor with the colors and the simplicity of the card.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
I {heart} sketches: sketch # 21
Sandy's crafty creations: embossed backgrounds
Tammy scrapin' corner: manly card
Simple create too: for a male
A gem of a challenge: emboss it

Crafts 4 eternity: for the boys
All sorts: in the garden (many times we fly our kites in the garden)
Card Caravan: lazy days of summer
Catered crop: masculine card
