Hello, again!
I would like to show you another card I made with a couple of techniques I am not used to: acuarelle background and embossing with powders. This is the card I made:
I used mainly green and blue acuarelles for the background on a watercolor cardstock. I used a rubber stamps with Happy Birthday sentiment with some glue pad for embossing powder, I used a blue one and the heating tool, I think I can improve... I used a blue-greenish textured cardstock for the mat. I also used some dew drops and green baker twine to embellish the card.
Challenges:
Simon says: make your own background
Simon says: a little bit of green
Morgan's Art: include a sentiment
RRR: show me the green with ribbon or trim
QKR Stampede: some sparkle
Sieze the birthday: Birthday (no topping here today)
Star Stampz: embossing
One crazy stamper: AG
Sparkles forum: Something for the males
Tinker dream: birthday
Creative playground: Birthday
Crafty creations: Sentiment focal point
Little red wagon: mainly manly

Ardilla, your colors are gorgeous and make a beautiful, rich background for your sentiment! That bit of lime bakers twine is a great echo to the color at the top of the card - love it! Thanks for joining us this week in "creating your own background" on the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge.
