Hello, there!
Today I have a new card to show you.
I used Lil Ballerina by Mo Manning, I've got it just before the new year and I love this image! She looks just like my daughtert when she practiced dance, when Vicky saw this image, she said: Mom, she has the same ballet suit I have and the same color, she looks just like me! I used Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. Then I cut it with an oval die cut (Sizzix) and did the same with the cardstock mat.
As I don´t have to much pinky-purple dp and wanted to try a new technique I saw in a blog a couple of months ago, I used white cardstock, an embossing folder and a fuxsia ink pad... voilá! ...the background!!! (with the negative of the embossing) and made almost the same for the triangle in the upper corner, but this time, dark pink cardstock and purple ink pad. {To tell you the truth this is not what I saw, but it didn´t work out for me, so I did this that is also new and first time for me :)}
For embellishments I used a new silver organza ribbon (I've just got it) and made a bow and used three rhinestones from my stash to complete the sketch.
I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
