Thinking of you
OK, here we go with the last card for today... I feel so happy, this was a productive weekend :)
The image and the sentiment are by Jellypark (it was freebie for subscriber to their newsletter)... I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and distressed the borders with a purple ink pad. Then I placed it on a purple mat and so with the sentiment.
I used a lavender cardstock and a Tim Holtz texture plate for the background, dp by Folia and more purple cardstock.
I used a purple gingham ribbon, a white heart button with some purple thread and made a bow, I punched out some butterflies and with a lot of pacience and many rhinestones I made a circle of bling.
I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
I {heart} sketches: sketch #2
Jellypark: button up
Crafty catz: cute as a button
4 crafty chicks: buttons
Dream Valley: girls, girls, girls
Digistamps 4 joy: anything goes

OH my Ardilla, this is so stuninng!! Your coloring looks fabulous girl!! :) I love this and I'm glad you had a nice creative weekend!
ReplyDeleteP.S. To answer your question on my blog, I usually add the distress ink to the edges FIRST and then use my distressing tool after the coloring...if you want darker edges after you've used the tool, then I'd try going back over it with a sponge in the distress ink...that way it will cover up the white distressed areas better. Hope that helps!! HUGS :)
