Taking a break

Hello, dear friends!

Today I came to tell you that I will be taking a break of posting cards. The reason? I am going to study for 5 month in another country and only can take 20 kg with me :(

I won't take crafty goodies with me and everything will remain back. I left my DT positions and don't think I will be able to do cards, at least for a while.

If I make any card, I will take pictures and show them to you, but I can't promise. I hope to be back in the begining of September, but is not sure either...

I really hope not to loose any of my great followers as I am away, I really hope you remain with me. If I have the chance, I will  visit your blogs, leave comments and having fun.

Hello and have a good Friday!
Today it's a little sad for me. This will be my last post for QKR Stampede, at least for this season.
This week our challenge is: RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY, and this is my card:

I used the image In the rain (digi 12502) and sentiment (digi 12505). I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it and the mat with circle Sizzix dies.

I used Oriental Trading dp and turquoise cardstock. In the mat for the image I used Dots embossing folder (Sizzix).

As embellishment I used a skyblue ribbon and made a bow to tie the tag with the sentiment.

Hamlet PigWit Think Spring!

Today I want to show you a card I made for the progressive chalelnge at From the Heart stamps.

I used Hamlet in the spring version and colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I am looking at it and maybe needs some stitches around or a doodle.... ok...

I used dp form my stash and green and blue cardstock. For the blue circle I used Swuirls embossing folder (Alterataion- Sizzix)

To embellish it I used two different butterfly punches and some yellow, orange and blue cardstock.

Christmas in March

Hello and happy Wednesday! I can't believe is already Wednesday... now that I need this week to go slow, it's going so fast that I would like to stop the time!
Anyways, I want to show you a card I made for the Christmas Progressive challenge at Digistamp 4 Joy.

I used some paper I have for long time, they are like velvet, gorgeous Christmas papers!!! I also used some green and dark red cardstock. I cut the corners with a corner punch

The only embellishment is a poinsettia in green and golden. I hope you like it :)

Viaje - Journey

Hello and happy Tuesday!!!
Hoy quiero mostrarte la tarjeta que hice para el nuevo challenge de Garabattas. El tema para este mes es VIAJES.
Today I want to show you a card I made for  the new challenge at Garabattas. The theme for this month is JOURNEY/TRAVEL.

La niña en mi tarjeta es Samantha, la viajera... La he coloreado con lápices acuarelables Koh-i-noor. Corté su imagen por el borde y la adherí a una doble base oval blanca y verde oscura.
The girl in my card is Samantha, the traveler... I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it out and placed it on a double cardstock mat, white and dark green.

Como no tenía un papel que fuera exactamente de viaje, utilicé este papel con diseños cuadrados, pensando que cada uno de ellos es una manzana de las ciudades que Samantha visitó o visitará. También usé cartulina en dos tonos diferentes de verde. As I didn´t have a journey/travel dp to use, I used this square design symbolizing every block of the cities that Samantha had visited or will visit. I also used some green cardstocks.

Para decorarla, usé algunas flores de papel en los mismos colores que el papel y algunas gemas en turquesa para los centros. También usé una cinta turquesa e hice un moño para la etiqueta con el sentiment. As embellishments, I used some paper flowers in the same colors of the dp and used some blue rhinestones for its centers. I also used a turquoise ribbon and made a bow for the tag with the sentiment.

Flower Kitty

Hello and happy Sunday!
Today I want to show you a card I made for the progressive challenge at Imagine That!

I colored the image with Koh.-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it with a circle die (Sizzix) and made the same with the yellow cardstock mat.

I used light yellow cardstock for the background and Flowers embossing folder (Sizzix). Then, I used some Folia dp and more yellow cardstock, I used a rounded corner punch for the corners of that panel.

Then I made some flowers with a daisy punch and yellow and orange cardstock and some orange rhinestones. I hope you like it.

A Little Birdie Told Me

Hello and happy Friday!
Did you misss me? I am so busy, preparing to move and preparing my daughter's birthday party. Thankfully, the party went well and there is only one girl left playing in the room.....
OK, let's go to our fab challenge at QKR Stampede for this week:

A LITTLE BIRDIE TOLD ME...

We would love to see birds in your creations!!!!!! This is my card for this week:

 I used New Family (digi 15213) and colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I made some faux stitches with a blue glitter pen. I used some turquoise cardstock to mat the image.

I used Oriental Trading dps and used turquoise cardstock to mat the panels. I also made some more faux stitches. The only embellishment is a turquoise gingham ribbon made a bow.

Today we have a new and favorite challenge at QKR Stampede:

ANYTHING GOES

This is the card I made:

I used the image Flowers (digi. 14613) and colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I am so in the mood for spring!!!!!!!!!! I used a circle die to cut the image and used some rhinestones to half frame it.

I used dp from my stash and some aqua green cardstock with Vines (quickutz) embossing folder. I made a card with a different fold: Half Cut Die, I found tutorials here, here, here and here.

To finish my card I used a flower ribbon and made a bow.

Photo Inspired challenge at QKR Stampede

Hello and happy Friday!
Today we have a new and fun challenge at QKR Stampede: COLOR PHOTO INSPIRED. We would like to see your greens!!!!!! This is the card I made:

And this is the picture to inspire:

I used Bathing Frog (digi 15616) and colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it with Labels1 Spellbinders and used the same shape for the green mat.  I don't know why the bath tub and the brush look blue, but I can tell you is a green shade ;)

I used Dots and Plaid green dp by Pingüino and green cardstock.  To embellish it I used a green gingham ribbon and made a couple of dots.
