Hello!
Today I want to show you a new card I made for a friend who is leaving, I don't like to say "bye" but is better if I can give a card for it...
The image is by Birdie Brown and my daughter colored it with copic and kuretake markers. My friend is always full of joy and so fun, I thought this image would work perfect for her, hehehe.... anyways, I used a striped patterned paper and a salmon color mat for the image and the whole card. To embellish it I used a teal flower ribbon and orange rhinestones.

Lighthouse good bye card
Hello and happy Wednesday!
Today I want to show you a card I made for some friends/colegues that are leaving soon and as they need to think what to do in future I thought a lighthouse as a symbol of guidance and the verse I choose from the Bible it´s also to encourage them in this time of decision making process.
The lighthouse is by From the Heart Stamps and I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a red cardstock mat and glued with foami tape to give dimension.
The background is blue cardstock and I used Swirls embossing folder (Sizzix) that makes me remeber the sea (my friends are going to the beach, really!!!).
The only embellishment is a white string and I made some knots (sailor's knots?). (Just a note, the string is recycled for a blind that broke and I kept the string because I thought I can use it one day...)
I hope you like my CAS card, and hope my friends also like it.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Tomorrow my daughter is having a ballet performance and one of her friends from this group is leaving the country in few days, so this is the last time my daughter will see her, so to tell her good bye I made this card.

I used different DPs from my stash (don´t ask me the brand because some of them I won in a candy) and blue cardstock, I used blue flowers and blue blings.
