Moody for computers

Hello... and hope you are having a great start of the week!!!!!
I would like to show you a new card I made for our challenge at Digi Makeover this week.

Our challenge # 75 is Photo Inspiration... what a nice pic, isn´t it? Whatever inspires you from this pic it´s good to make a card, remember you need to use a digi to play and have a lot of fun. I chose basically the colors of the sky and the flowers...

I used Moody for Computers and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it out and placed it on a white microembossed circle mat and the mat is a red cardstock circle.

I used Folia dp from 2 different collections, but I think I made a good mix and match selection... (I was reading a tutorial last week, and I am trying to learn). I used more red cardstock for matting the different elements in the card. I used also "Blossom" die cut to cut the light colored element.

My embellishments are very simple, a turquoise ribbon with a bow and a heart hanging from the bow. I didn´t add anything else.

I hope you like this card and feel inspired to play with us this week. You can win beautiful digistamps!!!!

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Queen Bee Lucky Irish

Good morning, happy Monday to everybody!
Today I want to show you one more card I made during the weekend but didin´t have the time to post it until today.
SKdigis released the new digis for St. Patrick's day... and they are very, very cute!!!!! There is also sentiments and digital papers available. You can buy it as a bundle or separated images. And I made a card:

I used Queen Bee Lucky Irish.... isn´t she cute? I colored it with acuarelable pencils and distressed the borders with a green inkpad. I used an old Stempelsonne sketch that I thought could be great for this image.

As my color printer is not working right now, I printed them on green cardstock with my laser black printer. I used dark green cardstock for the matting.

As embellishment I used a green ribbon, made a knot and used a methallic clover charm.

This will be the last entry post today... after this one, I am heading to the bed :)

I made this card for the challenge at The Alley Way. I really liked the pic when I saw it, so I wanted to participate this week... I am not too happy with the result, but neither unhappy...

I used this month's freebie and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I distressed the borders with a red ink pad and mounted it on a double mat (beige and red).

As the photo has a lot of white space I wanted to do the same in my card, so I didn´t use any dp or any other stuff. I only added some doodles in the edge that I learned from Beccy's blog (if you didn´t see it yet, Beccy has a fab tutorial for doodling)

Valentines tag

Hello!
My weekend is almost ended and it was quite good. My daughter is doing better and tomorrow she is going back to school, no fever and just herself again!!!!!!
I would like to show you this tag I made for the challenge at Robyn's Fetiche group at The Crafters Cafe.

The challenge was to make a Valentines' tag using the given image. And for me was a real challenge, first, because I am not good at making tags... I always feel like something is missing and am never satisfied... :( Plus, I come from a country where we don´t celebrate Valentines, we have a day for Friends (Día del amigo - July 20th) and a day for the loved ones (first Sunday in April)... so I have to think harder to make Valentines cards and tags now, hahaha!!!!!!!!

I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and cut it out, glued with foami tape to give dimension.

I used kraft paper and blue cardstock as the tag body. I used a stencil with tag shape to cut them. With a fine blue marker I made some faux stitches.

Then, I used a heart ribbon, with two heart punches I punched some in different colors of cardstocks and placed them in the corners. I used blue and red ribbon for the tag itself.

I would like to enter this tag in the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations Paint: Valentine's day
Dream Valley: Valentines
Great Impressions: have a heart
Card Caravan: hearts
The squirrel and the fox: Love
Pink Gem: hearts/ Valentines
All sorts: Valentines
Catch the bug: affairs of the heart
One stop craft: love is in the air

Gingerloft - The color red

Hello!
Are you having a nice weekend? We are resting a lot, with my daughter sick and myself trying to catch the same bug she has... it´s not possible to do something else than resting :)

I would like to show you this card I made for this forthnight challenge at Gingerloft: The Color Red.

I used this cute Strawberry House (as my daughter says "Strawberry Shortcake's house") and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. And as she loved it so much, this will be my Valentines' card for Vicky :)

I used Pinguino "red dots" dp, double sided, and made a faux stitching all around the card in the white background with a red fine marker.

As embellishments I used a strawberry ribbon, a red ribbon and made a bow and a red heart button.

I hope you are inspired now and made a red project and play with us!!!

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:

Heart balloon

What a week!!!
I didn´t have time to craft at all during the last few days, to much work and as if that wasn´t enough, my little one caught a bug and for the last three days she is with fever and quite ill :(
Today I have a little bit of time and was able to do a card...

I used this image that is/was a freebie from Sherri Baldy and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it out to placed it on the embossing background.

I used Folia dp, Pinguino dp and red and white cardstock. I used an embossing folder with flowers to give some texture to the background and used an oval die to cut the red half oval in the sketch..

As embellishments I used a net red ribbon (Crafty ribbons) and a heart ribbon and a couple of flowers together with a red rhinestone on the center.

I hope you like it... I am not to good at Valentines as in my country we didn't celebrate before and didn´t grow up with this celebration. Now some people is celebrating it because of the globalization is a kind of international thing... so be pacient with me and my Valentines cards :)

Another birthday card

Today was the birthday of Samuel, he is 1 year old!!! Samuel is the son of a good friend of us and as you can imagine, first year is very important :)

I made this card for him, I think it looks very boyish and cute for a first year. I used SKdigis Giraffe (sooo cute!!!!!!) and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I distressed the borders with a sky blue ink pad and placed it on a green cardstock mat.

I used DCWV dp (glittered stack) and green cardstock. The sentiment is Create with TLC and I placed it on a green cardstock mat as well.

I used different dotted ribbons for the banner and a peach ribbon to complete the sketch on the bottom.

I used two striped dp (Alt) in blue and red and more red cardstock for the background. I used a Create with TLC sentiment that I love and made some faux stitching with a silver pen to complete the sketch.
