Christmas in July - Sketch challenge at Catch the bug

Last year I participated at the challenge at Catch the bug "Christmas in July" and it was really helpful to start with my Christmas cards, so this year I am planning to join again! This is my second entry for this week's challenge at Catch the bug.

I used this AKV image, Joseph, Mary and baby. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils.  I distressed the edges with a green ink pad.

I gave some volume to the crib with foami tape, I like the effect :)

I used two different dp, the red one is a Oriental trading and the green one is a Printer Soyuz, I also used some red texturized cardstock.

As embellishments I only used silver stars in two sizes.

Christmas in July - A card for a kid

Last year I participated at the challenge at Catch the bug "Christmas in July" and it was really helpful to start with my Christmas cards, so this year I am planning to join again! So this is  my first entry for this week's challenge - A Christmas project for a kid.

I used this Teddy with ornament and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils, I put glitter in the hat and the ornament, I like sparkle in Christmas cards :) Imade some faux stitches with a fine marker and used a sky blue paper as a mat.

I also used a sky blue plaid paper (Oriental Trading). I don´t have to many Christmassy papers, but I think it looks great for a boy's card.

I also used a sky blue gingham ribbon and a couple of jingle bells to embellish it.

It´s a very simple card, but I hope you like it :)

Kiki and Argentina's Independence day

This is the name of this cute dog... Isn´t it lovely?

The image is a Tiddky inks freebie still available, and think is really cute and multipurpose :) I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and used a pastel orange cardstock circle as mat of it. I distressed the mat with an orange ink pad.

I used two different papers from Printer Soyuz and a pastel orange cardstock as mat. I also used a polka dot green ribbon, made a knot and embellished it with a button.

In another matter of things, today is Argentina's Independence day and I feel very happy to be an argentinean. ¡Viva la patria!

Best friends

Well... I had time during the weekend to color a few images and today I made two cards!!!!!!
The first one is a friendship card, with this free image that I've got as freebie a while ago and I really liked it, I printed long ago too and finally today I made something with it :)

The image is a DigiStamp4Joy freebie, I don´t remember when or where I've got it... I colored it with acuarelable pencils and used a red mat. I used my sizzix oval dies to cut the image and the mat. (I think I've should distress the border now that I look the card finished, never mind!) The sentiment is a Create with TLC freebie from long time ago too.

I used two different plaid dp from Printer Soyuz  and a red cardstock as mat for the red pieces of paper and the sentiment. I used small red, white and blue flowers and made two groups of them. I twisted a little bit the sketch as the sentiment was to big to fit where it was supose to fit in...

I am back with a card (finally!!!)

After many months without doing a new card, finally I made a new one!!!!!!!  A colegue of mine is leaving and we need to tell her how much we love her :)

 I used this week's freebie from McMahons5, this rose in a frame. I colored it with EK Succes Memory pencils (from the three boxes), I used only pinks and creams... Then I used a cream mat for it.

I used some plain cardstocks and dp in pink, red and cream. I used lace and two different ribbons, made a bow with the pink one. I used a few paper roses in red and pink as embellishments and also some bling for the corners.

Inside the card, I put two different quotes, one from the Bible and the second one from internet.

I am still alive - Pollycraft linky party

Life is busy for me, the last months I had no time to craft, only work and family.... sometimes I come to see what people is doing, but I didn´t do any new card :( 

I hope when clases are over I can craft some and join the fun here. 

Two days ago I saw the Linky Party that Paula from Pollycraft  is hosting as a way to say Farewell to Pollycraft, her shop as she will be very busy with a new baby that is arriving soon. You can link up a new card or an old card and hopefully discover many blogs that will be new to you .

 

My favourite card is this little girl having a tea party, I love how this card looked.

 

And these ones are other cards I made with Pollycraft's images, they are very sweet and great for boys or girls, it depends of the colors you use :)

Valentine's girl

Isn´t it beautiful this girl? When I saw this image as freebie at Saturated Canary, I couldn´t believe it!!! I was drooling over the images, when I saw many of you made a card with a image of this wonderful artist...

I made this card for a great friend, I hope she likes it! I colored it with acuarelable pencils and used a pink cardstock as mat.

Then I used some dp by DCWV and some light yellow cardstock. I also used a ribbon with hearts, made a bow and the sentiment is a Create with TLC freebie that I think is very sweet and great for a good friend.

With love for a princess

Thankfully I am back, and hope to continue up to... I had really hard four weeks, the first one with a problem in my mouth, the second and part of the third with some women's problems and the last 10 days with a terrible alergic bronchitis...... I feel drained... I couldn´t do to much during the last few weeks, at home, at work doing the minimum but for crafting no energy at all! Hope to feel better, I need to recover yet, but at least I started... YEAH!

This card is for my little princess, as today is Valentine's day and she is celebrating for first time. We don´t celebrate in our country but in the school she is going now, this is a big thing and I know she made cards for me and my husband, so, I thought it would be great for her that I congratulate her too!

The image was a freebie by bugaboo a few weeks ago. I colored it with acuarelable pencils and  used a purple mat.

I used a scrap of DCWV dp and the same purple cardstock. As embellishments I used a purple flower, some purple bling and a purple ribbon with hearts and made a bow.

Tell me what you love

This is the question at the Prairie fairy's blog for her Valentine's candy... And now that the candy has finished, I decided to leave here this post. Hope you enjoy reading my "loves"... :)

My answer:
I love Jesus, my saviour! in first place
I love my family, my husband and daughter have won my heart :) (almost 18 year married)
I love my mom, my brother and his family, my in laws family (this is a huge ammount of people) and my relatives (another huge ammount of people)
I love my friends, they are the best in the world and I don´t trade them for anything, I can add more though!
I love life.
I love to craft.
I love to learn and love to teach.
I love chocolate, coffee, pizza and italian food in general, argentinian meat (the best in the whole world!).
I love flowers and sea shells, those beautiful things that make the life prettier!
... and many other things... but I think this is enough for now, right?
