Heart-tangles

Hello, dear friends!
I a having a busy week and am a little M.I.A. I guess next week it will be more normal for me (I wish at least). I would like to show you a new card I made for the progressive challenge in Cre8tive Hands fans at Facebook:

The image is by Cre8tive Hands and it is Heart Tangles. I colored it with alcohol based marker (Kurecolor) and placed it on a green cardstock mat. The only embellishment are rhinestones on the image.

I made a different fold card, it opens in the middle (maybe it has a name) and closes with a ribbon and bow. I used Poligraphservis double sided patterned paper for the panels and green cardstock to mat them.

Remember we have a Anything Goes challenge going at Cre8tive Hands Friends, a progressive challenge in the Facebook group and a Blog Hop with the possibility of winning 13 different prizes.
Come and join us!!!!!

The theme of this hop is Fairy Tale Dreams.  There will be a winner at every stop PLUS, we will have one GRAND PRIZE winner who will get all of the new releases AND all of the sentiments Create With TLC has created for these adorable new images!
All you need to do to be in it to win is comment at each stop making sure they know you are hopping and not just leaving a comment from a challenge blog!
Here is what I created for the blog hop……

The image is "Mermaid" and  colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it with a Sizzix circle die and made the same for the blue cardstoc mat and for the sentiment I used the same cardstock.

The patterned paper is Poligraphservis. The blue cardstock is Folia.

For embellishments I used a blue ric-rac ribbon and some rhinestones for the hairdress and the sentiment. I hope you like it and keep hopping!!!

Now, head on over to Vicky’s blog to see what she has created for your viewing pleasures!

Birthday Cake

Hello!
This is a new card I made, and I think I will keep it for my husband's birthday; he loves cakes and as I am a squirrel, I guess, that goes perfect for his birthday...

The image is by 2 Cute Ink (I won it a couple of weeks ago, yeah!), I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and cut it with Labels 2 (Nestabilitites- Spellbinders), the same shape for the green cardstock mat.

The patterned paper is Poligraphservis and the green cardstock for the mat (don't remember brand). My husbands likes bright colors...

I added a green ribbon and a green button to complete the sketch, I love it!.

Mice balloon

Hello!
I would like to show you a card I made for a birthday.

The image is by From the Heart Stamps and is called Mice Balloon. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it with Labels 1 (Nestabilities - Spellbinders) leaving part of the balloon outside. I used the same shape for the red mat.

Patterned paper is from my stash and for the background I used the white cardstock from the card base.

As embellishments I used three red dew drops (or stickles, I don't know how to call them) and also used glitter glue on the balloon. I also made some faux stitches with a fine red marker.

Yellow

Hello!
I was playing a little bit with my nesties and different papers based in some ideas I saw browsing Pinterest... I came up with this card that is very unusual for my CAS with image style:

Patterned paper is Folia "Yellow roses", I used yellow cardstock, and cut both with rectangle Nestabilities dies. I tried to have one of the roses in the very middle so something is the focus of the card...

To embellish it I used yellow ribbon and made a bow to hold a yellow paper rose. It is a very simple card that can be handy for any ocassion.

First blooms

Hello, happy Saturday!
This last week is raining and raining... and we are starting seeing the first blooms in our garden. It's not as warm as two weeks ago, but we can feel the spring weather already.
I want to show you a card I made:

The digi is by The East Wind and it is March newsletter freebie. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it with an oval die (Sizzix) and did the same for the purple cardstock mat.

The background paper is from a stack called amethyste, the other two pieces come from my stash.

I used a gingham purple ribbon and made a bow to embellish it.

A pic of one of our trees:

Bird-day wishes

Hello!
I hope you are having a good week, for me is a busy one and don't have much time to blog around...
I would like to show you a new card I made:

Isn't it cute? I love the sweating bird celebrating one more birthday!!! I colored it with Kurecolor markers and for the background I sponged with the ink from a ink pad and a sponge, I like how it looks, and found out that is a very easy way to make backgrounds for the images... I also made some faux stitches with a fine blue marker.I also used some blue cardstock to mat it.

I used some patterned paper for Folia with balloons. I also used some blue cardstock to mat it. The sentiment is a very simple one I printed because I needed something small. I did not use any embellishment, but considering is for a male, looks quite good.
