Hello!
I was playing a little bit with my nesties and different papers based in some ideas I saw browsing Pinterest... I came up with this card that is very unusual for my CAS with image style:
Patterned paper is Folia "Yellow roses", I used yellow cardstock, and cut both with rectangle Nestabilities dies. I tried to have one of the roses in the very middle so something is the focus of the card...
To embellish it I used yellow ribbon and made a bow to hold a yellow paper rose. It is a very simple card that can be handy for any ocassion.
Challenges:
Double D: yellow Crazy Hazelnuts: patterned paper
Craft Dee bowz: handmade bow Catch the bug: AG
Creative card crew: die cut Cuttlebug mania: monochrome
Lemon Shortbread: AG Retarte: AG 2 creative chicks: AG
A bit more time to craft: AG Crafts Galore Encore: AG

First blooms
Hello, happy Saturday!
This last week is raining and raining... and we are starting seeing the first blooms in our garden. It's not as warm as two weeks ago, but we can feel the spring weather already.
I want to show you a card I made:
The digi is by The East Wind and it is March newsletter freebie. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it with an oval die (Sizzix) and did the same for the purple cardstock mat.
The background paper is from a stack called amethyste, the other two pieces come from my stash.
I used a gingham purple ribbon and made a bow to embellish it.
A pic of one of our trees:

Bird-day wishes
Hello!
I hope you are having a good week, for me is a busy one and don't have much time to blog around...
I would like to show you a new card I made:
Isn't it cute? I love the sweating bird celebrating one more birthday!!! I colored it with Kurecolor markers and for the background I sponged with the ink from a ink pad and a sponge, I like how it looks, and found out that is a very easy way to make backgrounds for the images... I also made some faux stitches with a fine blue marker.I also used some blue cardstock to mat it.
I used some patterned paper for Folia with balloons. I also used some blue cardstock to mat it. The sentiment is a very simple one I printed because I needed something small. I did not use any embellishment, but considering is for a male, looks quite good.

Challenges:
I heart scketches: #145
Sieze the birthday: AG/ water (no topping here)

Have a mice birthday!
Hello, dear friends!
I don't know about you, but this week just passed so fast, between the spring break and my daughter's birthday (it was raining but we were prepared with games inside home)... I almost forget to make the card for I heart sketch challenge... I love these sketches. This week the challenge has as twist to make a masculine card, and this is what I did:
I colored the image with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils, I cut it with a circle die (Sizzix), I distressed the edge with a sky bue ink pad. We wished to make the birthday party outside like this mice, but we did it inside and everything went well :)
For the background I used a blue cardstock and Birthday embossing folder (Cuttlebug). I also used some patterned paper from my stash.
Challenges:
I heart sketches: #144 + twist, Art by Miran: AG, The stamping boutique: masculine, Crafting with friends: AG, Cardz 4 galz: cute and cuddly, Critters and creatures: AG, Fantastic Tuesday: cute critters, Creative Fingers: AG, Sieze the birthday: birthday (no topping), Jo's scrap shack: AG, Fresh Brewed Designs: Happy Birthday, Simply papercraft: AG, Crafty time: birthday, WAW: AG, Digistamp 4 joy: add an animal, Little Miss Muffet: AG, Wonderful Wednesday: AG, Simon says: come rain or shine, OSATT: AG w/ embossing, Creative Playground: birthday

I drink coffee and you?
Hello, dear friends!
As in the title of this post, I am a coffee drinker, for hot drinks it's my favorite :)
I don't drink much when crafting, I don't like to bring the cup to my working place because I am afraid to make a mess if the coffee spills... But between cutting, glueing and this and that, I go to the kitchen and drink some coffee!
I made this card specially to participate in the Spring Coffe Lovers Hop:
The image is by Bugaboo Stamps and I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I made some green details with a glitter glue and I think look nice. I cut it with Labels 2 Spellbinders die cut. The same for the craft cardstock mat.
I used Folia patterned paper, it's all about coffee on a green background. I used a brown ribbon (Crafty Ribbons). With a black fine marker I made some faux statiches around the image and around the background.
Challenges:
Spring coffee lovers: coffee creation
Catch the Bug: Bingo (green - bling - ribbon)
Color your world: AG
Come and get it: add stitching
Glitter and sparkle: AG
Lil patch of crafty friends. AG
Pile it on: stitching
Quirky crafts: quirky masculine
Robyn's Fetish: square/recatangular cards

Pot of flowers
Hello, dear friends!
This last week we had rain almost every day, this morning we woke up with some falling snow, but fortunately it's gone, and we hope for a new week with sunny days, as Nauruz festival (Central Asian New Year) will be held on 21st, 22nd and 23rd of March.... I also hope that this rain will bring lots of flowers and green grass. Wishing good weather and spring and flowers I made two cards:
I used white cardstock as background and embossing folders. I used flower dies (Sizzix) and made some flowers combining colors. I cut the pots, I didn't have a pattern at hand, that's why they look different, hahaha... For the first one I used two shades of green and two of yellow cardstock. For the second one, two purples, one green and one pink cardstock.

Pink tulips
Hello, again!
Where I live tulis are the flower for March. You start seeing them for Women's day and the rest of the month, they decorate the whole city... you have them in many colors, I did these ones for my card in pink:
The image is From the Heart Stamps and I colored it with alcohol based markers and some details with pencils. I did some faux stitches around the image with a pink fine marker.
I used pink cardstock and an embossing folder for the background and the dp in the layout is from a My mind eyes stack.
The only embellishment is a pink glitter tulip that my friend Maryann gave me a bag with many long ago and I save them, so today I used one!
