Painting ladybug

Hello, again!
This is another card I made and would like to show you:

The image is From the Heart Stamps: Painting Ladybug. I colored it with alcohol based markers (Kuretake), and made some lines with a white pencil to imitate brightness and I like the effect. I used a green ink pad to distressed the edges.

I used green cardstock and a flowers embossing folder for the background, some pink dp with multicolor flowers and glitter and lots of sparkle (the picture doesn't show very well).

I used my sewing machine and made three lines of holes in the left edge to make the stitching that shows the sketch. I used a pink/green ribbon. I used one of the sentiments that comes in the set, started being a tag, then I cut a little bit, then another little and finally left just a big sentiment. I die cut a flower from some magazine paper and distressed the edges with an ink pad and finished it with a big rhinestone.

Hello!
I would like to show you another card I made, I am loving this of doing my own backgrounds, and I love acuarelle paints!!!! I was inspired and learn through some cards I saw at Pinterest, here, here... and many more!

I used watercolor paper and acuarelle paints to make the background. I used a rubber stamp with Memento black tuxedo ink and then I used a glue pad for embossing powder and put some clear powder and the heating tool, I guess I need to get some black embossing powder, for now I combine the two things. I used black cardstock for the background. To embellish it I used clear dew drops.

I used white cardstock for the background and a swirls embossing folder. Then I used one of the flower from a Sizzix set of three with pink and purple cardstock and used a big rhinestone for each flower in pink and purple. also with green cardstock and a swirl die cut I did the branch for the flowers. Playing with my dies

... and embossing folders...
Hello, dear friends and visitors!
Does it happen to you that you have some embossing folders and dies and you almost never use them? It does to me... So I was playing a little bit with some of them and made a few things. I will show you one card today and I will keep showing you in future some other things I am making with my forgoten stuff...
This week is International Women Day and here is celebrated as Mother/Sister/Girfriend/etc... So I need to make a lot of cards to congrat many women in my circles.

For this card,   I used a Flowers embossing folder and used it for the white cardstock on the background (you can see that on the right side picture). For the flower I used a flower die (from a set of three different shapes) with pastel yellow and sky blue cardstocks and used some yellow rhinestones for the center, I also used a Swirl die to cut green cardstock. I used more pastel yellow cardstock to mat the card.
(I posted two pictures because in the left one you can see the real colors and the right one you can see the texture of the background.)

A little bit of spring...

Hello, dear friends and visitors!
I can't believe the weather we are having here in Almaty (Kazakhstan, Central Asia)... This is my sixth winter here and never before we had a mild/warm winter as this one. Today, we are having the highest temperature recorded in the last 30 years: 21 C!!!! (The last high was 16C in 1989). The last 7 days had been gorgeous sunny days worthy of April, I am so happy, because normally winter here is very (really very) cold, but God is giving us this beautiful weather....

Ok, here is a card I would like to show you:

I've got this digi in a adult coloring page site on internet and didn't keep the record where... I colored it with alcohol markers, I cut it with a circle die and placed it on a purple cardstockmat cut with a scallop circle die.

I used a dot embossing folder and only embossed the half of the page and I really like it!!! Then I punched out some daisies and used rhinestones for their centers. I placed everything on  a purple cardstock mat.
