White and Blue at QKR Stampede

Hello and happy Friday!!! Yes... it´s Friday!!!!!!
Today we have a new challenge at QKR Stampede: WHITE AND BLUE, and this is the card I made:

I used the image Floating away (digi 15401) and Happy Birthday sentiment (digi 11503) and colored with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils.  I placed it on a blue cardstock mat.

I thought the colors were the perfect ones to make a male card. I used Folia blue gingham dp and blue cardstock with Dots embossing folder (Sizzix).

The only embellishments are a blue button and some blue embroidery thread. I kept it simple for a masculine look.

A quick birthday card

Hello and happy Thursday!
Just a couple of days ago I heard that one new friend is having her birthday tomorrow. I wanted to make a card for her but didn´t have much time. This is what I made for her:

I used Sweet November Garden Gnome Myra rubber stamp that I won in a candy but never used it, it's new!!! I inked it with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut the corners with a punch.

As the image is big, I only used some orange cardstock for the  background. The sentiment is by Create with TLC. I used a few orange rhinestones to give some bling to the card. I hope my friend likes it!

Better with Friends

Hello and happy Wednesday!
Today I want to show you a card I made for the freebie challenge at Imagine That!

The image is Jenn 'n Friends and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I used glitter for the snow and the fur. I placed the image on a purple cardstock mat.

I used one of the sentiments that comes in the set, I think this is a good way to say thanks to a special friend (preparing for Valentines). The dp in the background is Sarabooks Amethyst.

To embellish it I used a couple of swirls (Sizzix die cut) in purple and white and some purple rhinestones. Some metallic snowflakes with more rhinestones and a purple ribbon and made a bow. (Yes, the ribbon is purple, but I don´t know why, in the picture looks blue...!)

Ballerina in blue

Hello and happy Tuesday!
I hope you had a good start of the week and weather is treating you well... here we are having a kind of warm week, yesterday the snow melted a lot and it's is almost impossible walking, too slippery!
Anyways, I wanted to show you a card I made, and as you may know I love this cute ballerina...

The image is by Mo Manning and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a skyblue cardstock mat.

I used gingham and flower dp with skyblue tones, and more skyblue cardstock to mat everything.

To embellish it, I used lace, skyblue ribbon (this is a new one) and made a double bow, a white paper rose and three blue rhinestones.

Caught Your Heart

Hello and happy Monday!
Today is my daughter's last day of winter break and tomorrow everything goes to normal... I will miss her!
I wanted to show you a new card I made for the monthly progressive challenge at From the Heart Stamps. You still have time to get your free digi this month and play to win every month a new free digi. I love Faith's drawing, they are very cute!!!

I colored the image Caught Your Heart with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it with Labels 1 Nestabilities and made the same for the mat.

I used pink cardstock and Swirl Vines With Hearts embossing folder for the background, Folia and Alt dp for the panels at the sides of the image.

 I used some die cut flowers and a rhinestone to make a flower glued with foam tape (for dimension) to complete the layout. Oops! I forgot the ribbon :(

I used this sketch, but I am late to enter my card in the challenge!!!

Hello and happy Sunday!
I want to show you a card I made with one image for a new artist (well, new for me!) called Mi Ran.

The image is called Rosie and it´s a freebie in Mi Ran's blog. I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a dark pink (or fuchsia) cardstock mat cut with scallop square die cut (Sizzix).

I used Poligrafservis dp and fuchsia cardstock. I used a fuchsia ribbon and made a bow and two fuchsia/white paper roses to embellish the card. I didn´t put any sentiment yet as I don´t know who will receive this.

Very happy birthday

Hello and happy Saturday!!!
Today I want to show you a new card I made. The Alley Way is celebrating its birthday and there is challenge to create a birthday project using a TAW stamp for it.

The image is an old freebie I've got a while ago and printed but never use it... so today I used markers (school ones) to color this cute cupcake and chose rainbow order to do it. I placed the image to the card with foam tape.

I used red cardstock and Diamond on diamond embossing folder for the background. Then, I used bakers twine in red, orange, yellow, green and blue to embellish it.

Snowflakes and sparkle at QKR Stampede

Hello and happy Friday!!!
After a long break, I am showing you today my first card of 2014.
Today we start again with our challenges at QKR Stampede and this week, the challenge is SNOWFLAKES AND SPARKLE.

I used the image Ice Skating (7902 Ice Skating ), doesn't this penguin look fun?, and colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I used glitter for the snow and the hat. I used a blue glitter pen to make some doodles around the image. The mat is blue cardstock. 

I used yellowish/orangish and blue cardstock and Cuttlebug embossing folder (Snowflakes). I made some faux stitches all around the card with an orange glitter pen.

To embellish it I used a blue ribbon and I punched out a snowflake and glued it with foam tape and finish it with a yellow/orange rhinestone.
