Mince Pie

Hello and happy Saturday!!!
When I thought I finished with Christmas cards, one friend of mine asked me to do for her a few more Christmas cards.
The thing is, here where I live, just few people celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December, but New Year is a big celebration and they use the same symbols that we use for Christmas. And for some, Christmas is celebrated on the 7th of January. In the next days I 'll make some cards and show you... they will be simple and not to fancy as I have to rush (LOL).
This is the first one:

I used one of the freebies that Scrappers Delights is offering on its FB group, during these days, every day there is a new freebie. This one is the second day one and it´s called Mince Pie. I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and used glitter on the top to make it very sparkling :) I cut it with a circle die cut and the same for the green mat.

I used some red/golden cardstock that is already embossed for the background.

I used a Christmas ribbon to embellish it.

Happy Holidays at QKR Stampede

Hello and happy Friday!!!
Today we have a new challenge at QKR Stampede: HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! Todays is our last challenge of 2013 and we'll continue on the 6th next January 2014. I made this card, Christmas traditional colors and santa, Christmas tree, golden stars, everything Christmas!!!!!!

I used Christmas tree (digi 9407) and Christmas sentiment (digi 8717). I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquatrelable pencils and used some glitter for the light bulbs and the top star.

The dp is from my stash and the same for the red cardstock. I used Sizzix oval dies to cut the image and its mat.

To complete the sketch, I used some golden stars in different sizes and glue them with foam tape.

Pocket card #2

Hello and happy Sunday!

Today I want to show you a card I just learn to made using the tutorial from El Baul de Andrea on FB:

I used Folia paper, some blue cardstock, stickers, ribbon and some silver glittered stars. Faux stitches on the tags. The best of the pockets is that one of them can be used to hold a gift ($$$)...

Favorite embellishments at QKR Stampede

Did you miss me? I am not feeling crafty at the moment and rarely can sit to craft, don´t ask me why, but is not the first time... maybe is because I worked a lot during November making Christmas cards and now that I am done don´t feel inspired for cardmaking. Anyways, let's go to what is important today.
Today we have a great challenge at QKR Stampede:

CHRISTMAS + 3 FAVORITE EMBELLISHMENTS

I used 4, though... ribbon, glitter, gems and punch.

I used Sledding Bear (digi 15906) and colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I used glitter for the snow and red gems for the ornament in the tree, more glitter for the star and the bear's hat. I placed it on a skyblue/turquoise cardstock mat.

I  used doble sided Poligrafservis dp and skyblue/turquoise cardstock.

I embellished it with Christmas ribbon, a snowflake punch and one more red gem to complete the layout.

Today, QKR Stampede is part of the Christmas Advent event at Crafty Ribbons Pure Inspiration blog.
And as part of the DT I made a card:

I used Shepherd (digi 8714) and Christmas sentiment (digi 8712). I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and used some glitter for the lamb. I used dark green cardstock for the mat.

I used beige and light brown cardstock and some Christmas dp from my stash.  I used dot embossing folder in one panel but kept very simple without mats.

As embellishment I used a golden ribbon with stars, and made a bow.

White with a splash of green or red at QKR Stampede

Hello and happy Friday!
Today we have a new fun challenge at QKR Stampede: WHITE WITH A SPLASH OF GREEN OR RED. I want green and made this:

I used Peace Angel (digi 16705) and colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a green cardstock mat. I used two different kinds of glitter for the wings and the stars.

I used white cardstock and three different embossing folders: dots, circles and stars and swirly stars.

I used green gross ribbon (Crafty Ribbons) and made a bow.

Purple Christmas set

Hello and happy Friday!
Today I want to show you a set I made of ATC and tag. The challenge at El Baul de Andrea on Facebook was to make a tag and an ATC in purple tones, including and inchie with Christmas theme. I learn about this challenge 4 days ago and made it today, and upload it two minutes before the challenge ended!!!!!! This is what I made:

The cute robin is by Just Some Lines, it´s a freebie for Christmas and think he is very cute!!! I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and cut it out.

For the ATC, I used some purple cardstock and Snowflakes Cuttlebug embossing folder. I added a gingham ribbon, glitter, a purple cardstock inchie with a metallic purple snowflake and a purple rhinestone.

For the tag, I used one from Sarabooks Amethyst word book. I used two different purple gingham ribbons, glitter and a metallic purple snowflake and a purple rhinestone on the inchie.

A penguin card

Hello!
I am back after a few days of absence... I wasn't inspired and didn´t want to craft, don´t know why, but today I have something to show you:

The cute image is by SKdigis, Chilly the penguin,  and it was a freebie last month for the ones that linked cards on the FANtastic linking party, hopefuly next year will be back :) I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a green cardstock mat and glittered the snow and the top of the hat.

I didn´t use dp, only white cardstock and Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder. A little bit more of green cardstock for the mats.

The only embellishment is a pewter snowflake brad on a green penant. Hope you like it!

I can tell you this card fits with the weather we are having here, since this morning we are having snow and the T° dropped dramatically... this little fellow would be very happy around :)
