Flowers for a loved one


What a better way to say I love you than give flowers? I love watercan images and when they come with flowers, better!

I made this card using a Bugaboo Stamp, I colored with acuarelable pencils trying to use pastel colors and purple tones.


I used some dp in purple pastel color, pastel purple cardstock. I distressed the border of the image with some purple ink pad. I also used a lilac gross ribbon.



I made some flowers with a punch, mounted them with some foami tape and make the center of each flower with a purple bling.

Flutterby Fairy Card

After one week with no printer, last evening I've got my baby back home :) The printer is working well and I can print more digis to work with (I was using the ones I already have printed (I have tons printed out!). And this one is the first I printed out today!!!


I made this card for the challenge at Delightful Inspirations Month Challenge at Designed to Delight. This is a progresive challenge, in the first Friday of every month, there is a free digistamp and if you use it in a project, next week you receive a new stamp in your mail. If you didn´t get the freebie you can buy it and play this week and then you receive the new freebie.



This week's image is "Flutterby Fairy", I colored it with acuarelable pencils and used  some glitter in the wings to sparkle it!
 


I am trying something new for me, no layers-no mats, so I printed the image on the card and did the same with the sentiment (Create with TLC). I made the flowers with a punch and some pastel pink and babyblue cardstock and used a pink stickle on each one. I also used a pink ribbon and a butterfly metallic embellishment.

Card for a male birthday 2


OK, this is the second card today... as I told you before, hard to do nice cards for men, at least for me :)


I used a freebie from Dragon Doodles and colored it with acuarelable pencils.




Mounted it on a blue cardstock and made some faux stitches with a silver pen.


I used light blue and blue cardstocks and a birthday dp in blue too. With an extrafine blue marker I made some faux stitches.

A couple of male birthday cards


Why is it so hard to make male cards? Every time I have to do one is a pain... and this time I make two!!!!

The first one I made has a Birthday Cake image from Tiddly Inks, I colored with acuarelable pencils. 


I also made some faux stitches with a yellow glitter pen and mounted to a yellow dp.


Then I used a green and blue cardstock, three brads (blue, green and yellow) and the sentiment is mine :) (Happy Birthday in Spanish-short version). I also made some faux stitches to the blue cardstock.

Black and white and a little of color card

Normally I don´t use black and white in my cards but today I like what I did...



I used an image from Beccy's place and colored it with acuarelable pencils, isnt it gorgeous this bucket with flowers?



I used a embossed (Sizzix flowered flourish) white paper as background, black cardstock and a glittered black and white flowered dp with a black mat. I used some foami tape for the image to have some effect.



I also used a gingham black and white ribbon and made a knot.

A tag card with flowers


Tomorrow we need to give a couple of cards... to say thanks to some teachers at the ballet performance.


I made this card with an image from Beccy's place.
Don´t know the name of this flower in English, but my neighbourhood here is full of this beautiful lilac color flowers. I colored them with acuarelable pencils.


I made a tag with some purple cardstock. I used DPs from my stash and a couple of purple ribbons and made a bow for the bottom of the card and a knot to the tag.

It looks very simple, maybe I should add some faux stitches...mmmmm...

A good bye card


Tomorrow my daughter is having a ballet performance and one of her friends from this group is leaving the country in few days, so this is the last time my daughter will see her, so to tell her good bye I made this card.

I colored the stamped image with acuarelable pencils.


I used different DPs from my stash (don´t ask me the brand because some of them I won in a candy) and blue cardstock, I used blue flowers and blue blings.

Bear birthday card 2


This is my second card today, and also birthday and bear!!!


I used a image from Pollycraft (Cuthbert's Party) and colored it with acuarelable pencils. 


I used a degradée (from red to blue) carstock as background. Then I used two different dps in blue-red combination, I used red carstock as a mat for the image.

Bear birthday card 1


May brings a lot of birthdays... so I need to be prepared!!!!!!


For this card I used a Pollycraft image (Cuthbert with balloons), colored it with acuarelable pencils.
