Some spring daisies

Hello and happy Tuesday!
Today was a warmer day here and snow is melting quickly, they are announcing that tomorrow we'll have some more snow again :)
As you may already noticed, I am so ready for spring!!!!!! This is a new CAS card I made, I CASEd this from a card I saw at Pinterest, but I made my own interpretation:


I used a die cut Layered flowers (Sizzix) and some swirls and folliage in green to make this card. The background is a turquoise cardstock and Swirls embossing folder.

Beautiful dog

Hello and happy Tuesday!
Dogs are my fav animals, actually we have a Cocker Spaniel called Chicky as a member of our family. Today, I would like to show you a card I made using a dog image as main focus:

The image is Alsatian by Fitztown. This is a freebie I won a few weeks ago and thought it would be great to make a masculine card. I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and cut it out. Then, I used a double oval mat (white/black) to mat the image both cut with Oval die cut (Sizzix).


I used a stamped micro-corrugated cardstock (Alt) and some more cardstock. I used a balck ribbon (Crafty Ribbons) and made a knot too.

Some spring thoughts

Hello and happy Sunday!
I like snow and the white landscape, but I am ready for spring. If you take a look of my last cards you will see that flowers and bright colors are driving me these last days... This is another spring inspired card I made:


The cute watering can is by The Stamping Boutique and I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it with scalloped square die cut and use the same for the purple mat.


I used Pinguino dp (purple dots) and white cardstock and Flowers embossing folder (Sizzix). For embellishment I used a gingham lilac ribbon and made a bow and on that I glued a paper daisy flower.

Bouquet Chick

Hello, it's me again!
This is another card I made:
The image is Bouquet Chick by From the Heart Stamps and I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils.
I placed it on a green cardstock mat and I added some rhinestones in the centers of the flowers.


I used striped and flowers dp by Alt and more green cardstock to mat everything. I added a green ribbon and made a bow. Isn´t this bird lovely?

A lighthouse in the beach

Hello and happy Saturday!
Today I want to show you another card I made:


The image is by From the Heart Stamps and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a white cardstock mat.


For the background I didn´t use dp, I used three different colors of cardstock, in maritime combo, and I used Swirls embossing folder to give the idea of sea waves. I used a white ric-rac too. I hope you like my CAS card!!!

Sentiment only at QKR Stampede

Hello and happy Friday!!! Happy Valentines' day for those who celebrate today!!!!!!!
Today we have a new challenge at QKR Stampede: SENTIMENT ONLY


I used the sentiment All Things (digi 12506) and cut it with Labels1 Spellbinders. There is a free sentiment at the shop for you to grab this month!!!!!!


For the background I used turquoise cardstock and Flowers embossing folder. Then, I cut a couple of flowers with a Sizzix die in fuchsia and yellow cardstock and combined them. I also cut some swirls with Swirls die cut (Sizzix).


Now, you tell me if I am ready for spring or not! (LOL!)

Blue flowers and pearls

Hello and happy Thursday!
Well, in theory, because is that late that it's already Friday, but as I didn´t go to sleep yet, for me is Thursday and it was a very long one... and cold and as soon as I finish posting I go to sleep :)
I would like to show you a new card:



The image was a freebie I've got at Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet. I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it with an oval die cut and made the same for the skyblue cardstock mat. I added some pearls for the centers of the flowers.


I used some Alt dp and skyblue cardstock. I also used Dots embossing folder for the mat, but I don´t know if it's visible... I added more pearls for some corners and a ribbon in blue with some flowers printed on it.

Guest DT at Stick It Down

Hello and happy Tuesday!
Last month I won the challenge at Stick It Down and I was invited as Guest DT for February sketch. Yoohoooooo!!!!!!!!!! (Winner's post here)
This is my card:

I used a freebie that was given a few weeks ago at Sugar Nellie. I choose yellow/red color combo. I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils and placed it on a red cardstock mat.


For the yellow cardstock I used Flowers Scattered embossing folder (Sizzix) and the dp is by Oriental Trading.


The embellishments are a red string and a knott made with for the patterned panel and three red rhinestones to complete the sketch.

Basket of flowers

Hello and happy Sunday!
it's snowing again... and it's very cold!!! I long for spring :) Today I want to show you a new floral card I made:





The image is by Karen Doodles, a very old freebie. I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils and placed it on a beige color mat. Both of them cut with circle die (Sizzix).


I used beige color cardstock and Flowers and Birds embossing folder (Sizzix), I also used Alt dp from Butterflies collection (burgundy bg). For embellishments I used a beige ribbon and made a couple of bows.

A bunch of flowers

Hello and happy Thursday!
I am longing for spring, I tell you... here we are having the coldest days this winter!!! Since last Saturday, we are having max of -15°C and in the nights -22°C... that's cold, I know...
For that I am doing cards with flowers, to see some signs of spring:


I don´t remember how I've got this image, but I am sure it was a freebie or a prize :) {if you know where is it from, please, let me know to give the credit to the artist} I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a white/purple double mat cut with oval die (Sizzix).


I used Alt paper from the glittered Butterfly collection, but I see thet the glitter shows black in the pics and not glittery. I also used lilac cardstock and Dot embossing folder (Sizzix). I used two ribbons to make the pennats on the left corner and a few rhinestones in the other corner.
