Wild thing you make my heart sing

Hello dear friends!
This week I was working in the cards for the birthday celebration at Bugaboo challenge blog. I tried in the past to participate and it was a lot of fun and the good side of it is that at the end you have 7 cards to use to celebrate your dear ones!!!
This is my first card:


I used two different digis, the lion is Re-lion me by Spyder and the tower of cupcakes is a Bugaboo image, I used some foami tape for the cakes to give dimension. I used kraft cardstock, I did embossing with a cuttlebug folder (Happy Birthday). I used an orange ribbon and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.

Happy birthday with balloons

Hello and happy Sunday!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Here it have been freezing cold!!!! Brrrrrrrr............ Since Friday we are having -17/-19°C and the forecast is similar for next few days!
Anyways, I wanted to show you a new card I made:


The image is by Bugaboo and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils and school markers. I placed it on a yellow cardstock mat.


I used Balloon dp by Folia and yellow cardstock. To embellish it I only used yellow ribbon and made three knots. I hept it simple for a male birthday card.

Happy and colorful birthday

Hello and happy Saturday!
THIS IS MY 600th POST!!!!!!
Today I want to show  you a new birthday card I made:


The image is by Bugaboo and I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a green cardstock mat cut with a scalloped square die (Sizzix).


I used dp from my stash and green cardstock. The sentiment is by Create with TLC I cut it with a circle die and made the same for the mat. I used a gingham green ribbon to made a bow for the sentiment.

Ladybug birthday

Hello!
Last night we had a black out and the energy just came back!!!
I hope to be on time to submit my last card for Catch the Bug challenge:


I colored the image with school markers and Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut the image with a circle die and placed it on a scalloped circle red cardstock mat.


I used dotted Muresco dp and red microcorrugated cardstock and a red cardstock mat. The sentiment is by Create with TLC and placed it on a red mat.


I placed four red rhinestones in the sentiment and punched out four daisies and finish them with a yellow rhinestonw each. The Happy Birthday ribbon is a Crafty Ribbon's one.


I wasn't on time for the sketch challenge at the Sweetest thing :(

B is for birthday!!!

WOW, I am so happy with my cards this week... I really love this kind of challenges that at the end you have a great batch of cards.
I want to show you what I did for today challenge at Catch the Bug: Just kidding around make a birthday project for kids!


I colored the image with markers and Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I used glitter for the cake's frosting. I cut with an oval die and made the same for the blue cardstock mat.


I used Folia paper for the background and the sentiment is from Create with TLC and placed it on one corner as part of the party decoration of the paper.


The candle ribbon is by Crafty Ribbons. I made some faux stitches around the card with a blue glittered pen. I tried to make a CAS card because kids don´t need to much stuff on it, but they like fun images and lots of colors. I hope you like it!

Happy birthday with cupcake

Hello and happy Thursday!
I would like to show you a new card I made for this week's Birthday Celebration at Catch the Bug, this one for Saturday challenge: tic-tac-toe.


I colored the image with school markers and Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it out and placed it on top of a double circle mat white and blue.


The dp is by Me and my Big Ideas, Mambi sheets and Folia. The sentiment is by Create with TLC.


For embellishments I used a blue ribbon with hearts ad made the girl sit on it, and also made a flower with die cutters, pink and blue cardstock and a pearl for its center, I glued it with foam tape to give dimension.

Smelling birthday cake

Hello and happy day!
I am keeping on making birthday cards... today I want to show you a new card I made for the challenge at Catch the Bug Birthday Celebration: Humor me Wednesday – create a funny birthday project.
I don´t know if this is to crack you up by laughting, but I think is fun, I love the image and the sentiment.


I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and placed it on a blue cardstock mat.


The dp is by Me and my Big Ideas, Mambi sheets. and more blue cardstock for the background. I love the combo yellow-blue!!! (it´s my team)


I used green, blue and orange cardstock to make the pennants and some yellow twine (Doodlebug twine) as embellishment.

Bling it up

Hello!
Here I go with my third card for the Birthday challenge at Catch the bug. The challenge for Tuesday is Bling it up! and this is the card I made:


I colored the image with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I added some glitter on the cream on top of the cupcake.


I didn´t use dp, only purple and lilac cardstock and Dots and Flowers embossing folders for each panel. The sentiment is by Create with TLC and I used a lilac cardstock mat for it.


To embellish it I used a gingham purple ribbon and made a bow. I also add some purple rhinestones to bling it up!

Enjoy your day, Birthday girl

Hello, it's my second post today. This is a new card I made for the Birthday Celebrations at Catch the Bug.
This one is for the color challenge. I have to confess that definitely these are not my colors, but it was fun to try and do something very different:


I colored the image with school markers (I don´t have alcohol or professional ones) and the skin tone with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a black cardstock mat and made some faux stitches aroud the image.


I used two different dp and used black cardstock to mat everything. The sentiment is by Create with TLC and is also mat with black cardstock.


The only embellishmet are three metallic something (what are they? how do you call them?).

Cupcake bear birthday card

Hello and happy Tuesday!
I am very excited for participating this week at the Birthday challenge at Catch the Bug. Last year I did and after the challenge I had many birthday's card prepared... I hope I can do all of them and have a good birthday batch too!
This is my first card for the Birthday Celebration Sketch challenge:


I colored the image with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and  cut it out, placed it on a white circle cardstock (sizzix die) and placed it on a Kraft cardstock scallop circle (Nestabilities).


I used kraft cardstock, blue cardstock and a scrap of MME skyblue glittered dp. For the blue background I used Argyle embossing folder (Sizzix) and for the scallop stripe, Dots embossing folder (Sizzix) and scallop scissors.


To embellish it I used some blue twine (Doodlebug primary colors twine) and a kraft color button. I print the sentiment myself.
