SKdigis Fall Blog Hop!!!!!!

Hi all you FABULOUS  people in blogland, I hope you are having a wonderful day!!  :)

Welcome to our  FALL Blog Hop brought to you by the SKdigis design team

This blog hop is only 9 stops, that's quick and easy and you have the chance to win a free SKdigis image at each stop along the way.  You will start at SKdigis blog, where Sonia has another chance to win an even bigger prize! Fun and easy, yes?  We have all been working hard to bring you some fabulous projects and hope you will find eye candy and lots of inspiration along the way.

If you arrived here from SKdigis you are in the right track and the next stop is Angeline but if you just came accross the hop, you may want to start HERE

For this event I made a Fall Shadowbox. I used many of the fall collection by SKdigis and some other elements.

As I can´t find here finished boxes I built it myself, using a candy box as base and some white cardstock to make all the small compartiments.

Here you can take a look of every space and how every image has dimension. I used at least three layers on each image and glued them with foam tape.

To hang it, I used natural raphia in brown and natural color. To embellish the box, I used flowers, buttons, ribbon to made a bow and a wooden flower on top, and natural acorns.

Here is the list of blogs in case you get lost along the way, we start at SKdigis and continue the fabulous design team members

Ardilla (you are here!!!!)

Leave a comment and you will have the chance to win the little Scarecrow.

ALL winners will be announced HERE on Thursday October 10 and don't forget to visit our FANtastic Linking Party open for the entire month of October.

Sunflowers - SKdigis Inspiration Tuesday

Hello, and happy Tuesday! October has already started!!! Isn't it going to fast? or is it myself getting older?
How are you doing? I hope you are ok... here we are enjoying cool mornings and evenings and warm noons and afternoons, beautiful auttumn weather!
For that I felt inspired to make this card for our SKdigis Inspiration Tuesday:

I used the image Sunflowers and colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and later I used some glitter glue to make some details on the image. I placed the image on a dark green cardstock mat.

I didn´t use dp, only orange auttumn color cardstocks and embossing folders with flower motives and some dark green cardstock for the backgrounds.

As embellishments I used two different orange bakers' twine and made a bow and some orange rhinestones for one of the corners.

I kept it simple to make sure the image is the focal point in the card and the sketch is appreciated.
If you want to play and use this sketch, there is an SVG file free for you to download here.Visit SKdigis blog and you can find freebies, and the complete rules for the new FANtastic linking party.

Magical birthday

Hello!
Today I was looking through the window and realized auttumn is here... the tree in front of our kitchen is half naked and half yellow, in a few weeks no more leaves! It's amazing how fast seasons change and they bring something new to our life.
I would like to show you a new card I made for Inspirational Tuesday at SKdigis:

I used Little Magician and colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it out and placed it on a double mat white/red. I used some glitter glue for details, in the eyes, in the bunnies' ears, in the tie, the tuxedo and the shoes...

The dp is DCWV from the glittered stack. I also used black and red cardstock.

The sentiment is made by Sonia too and think is perfect for this card.

The sketch is made by Sonia, I love her sketches. If you like to use it, there is a svg file available for free to use. I hope you play with us this month and link up your SKdigis creation to the linking party and you can win free digis, GDT spot and a lot of fun!!! There is a freebie available!!!
