Sweet girl

Hello, friends! How are you doing? T.G.I.F.!!!!! My favorite day in the week :)

Today I want to show a new card I made.

I used Trudy by Mo Manning, she is a paper doll as the dress comes separated to add it to the girl. I love this image, Trudy is so sweet, I think this is the third card I made with her. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I used a double mat for the image (beige and blue) and the blue one is cut with a Fiskar scissor.

The pics don't show so well, but the skirt has some dimension. I used foami tape to glue that part and it has some volume :)

I used beige/yellow cardstock and with a flourished embossing folder I made the background. (When I see my last cards I think I am so ready for Spring!!!!!!!!!)

To embellish the card I used a blue gingham ribbon and made a bow, I also used a bunch of light blue and yellow flowers and some blue rhinestones.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Just add ink: sketch
Bronte and Bella: emboss it!

Hello and happy Monday!!!

How are you doing? I hope you had a wonderful weekend and now your batteries are charged for this week. Today, I want to show you a new card I made for our challenge at Digi Makeover challenge: Warm Thoughts.

I used one image and a sentiment from the set "Caffeine Trip", I thought this is one of the best images to warm us up in the cold weather! I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I didn't use dp for this one, but, in cardstock, one of my favorite color combo... I used an embossing folder for the brownish background and for the image and the sentiment a dark red (wine)-pink double mat.

I used a pink with hearts ribbon and made a bow to complete the sketch. I also added some rhinestones as for me always need some bling.

Celebrating with textures

Hello!!!
I made one more card today for the Celebration at Catch the bug. Today is the last day and the challenge is to use the freebie and add texture to the project.

I colored the image with school markers (I don´t have alcohol ones) because I wanted the colors to be very bright. Then I used some fluo orange cardstock and I used it as mat for the image, the sentiments and the background. I used a white/creammy leather textured cardstock and I used some fibre roll (I don´t know the name of it, it´s not paper, it´s not textile, or is it?) The sentiment is by Create with TLC. And this is my last entry for this week's long challenges.

Happy birthday ballerina

Ok, here we go again, this is the last post for now, hahahaha.... this is another card I  made for this week's celebration at Catch the bug. This one is for Monday: black/white and a pop of color. I chose deep fuchsia or pinky purple (don´t know exactly how to call it, lol!)

I used Bugaboo Bratz Ballerina and colored it with Koh-i-noor acurealable pencils. I placed it on a fuchsia mat. She is a cutie, isn´t she???

I used DCWV dp in white and black with some glitter on it.

The I used a dark fuchsia rickrack, a lot of rhinestones and a fuchsia metallic Happy Birthday. To put the bling with the circle shape was all an adventure, I used a die cut as pattern and with a small pliers took one by one, glued it and then placed it on the circle.... almost one hour doing that!!!!!!! And I like it how it looks... :)

(I just realized I forgot to put one element of the sketch, but already gave the card... hope still I can play in the challenge)
